Articles are your best tools for internet marketing

So you have developed a new site and it is live right now. But nobody except you, your friends and family goes to the web and visit it. You want to hit the top positions on search engines, If not top then at least some descent position. Right. And Search Engine Optimization Companies charges are way too much for you.

Here is the solution. You might have heard the phrase that “Content is the King” So you might be spending hours and hours writing your unique content for your sites. Instead you can now write one or two articles. Post them at the articles distribution or repository sites and then relax.

Lets take a simple example. I have a site say http://www.shoppersale.com and I want to do some marketing for it. Now this is a shopping related site. So I have to choose some keywords from overture data. The overture data shows the performed searches for a particular keywords in the last month. So I search for shopping and find some keywords like online shopping, outlet shopping, discount shopping, shopping center mall, shopping mall, etc. etc.

Now I have to write my article around this theme of my website and if possible include this keywords in that article. Then all I have to do it go to the articles sites and submit my article for approval. Some of the article sites are http://www.ezinearticles.com, http://www.isnare.com, and http://www.vavk.com

In some days the article is approved and is live with thousands of other articles on that site. This is the best way to get a back link for your site as the most of the sites allow the authors resource box at the bottom of the article. Some articles sites offer this articles for Free reprint rights and other webmasters or visitors can copy this article from the article repository and put it on their own site. Still your Authors Resource Box remains intact. This goes on and on and before you know your site gets many back links from other 1000’s of sites on the Internet.

Choosing the right domain name

Future of domain names. It is clear now that when some poor guy wants to start a web site the first problem is to get a descent domain name. Every domain name he can think of, is already registered. Even if he finds some name which is going to drop in a week or so, there is no chance that he will get it. Domineer all around the world are waiting right there with their backorders placed on that name.

3 character domains cannot be found for registrations not even 4 letters nowadays. All TLD's like .com, .net, .info and .org have been regged to the 4 letters limit. While I am writing this there are less then hundred 3 character domains left in '.net' and '.org' extensions with a mixture of letters and numbers. And around 2000 junk letter names in LLLL combination. Some lists can be found here. http://www.nameslot.com

So every domineer likes to have a 3 letter 4 letter and some dictionary and some brand able domains in his or her portfolio. There are more flavors too. Like LLL.com's, LNL.com's, NNN.com's and generic domains.

There are millions of domains registered. Imagine just $5 average per domain registration. And you will know how big this domain industry is. From where I am seeing it, there is no downfall of this domaining business. People who are breaking Trademarks and registering company names are also being hit hard nowadays. But still you can't file a case against some John for registering JOHN.COM and the show goes on.

Dreaming to sell your domain for millions

Each and everyday you hear stories about some name getting thousands of dollars from the buyer. You also jump right into the game of domaining and hope for that lucky day to arrive when someone might get interested in your domain name. Right?

How to get started?

The main problem with newbies over here is that they do very less research and start spending their money on useless names. After 6 months or a year their moral goes down the drain and they are back where they were but with lighter pockets then before.

Some people get into the trademark mess. They get sued by trademark holding company and then they show their temper openly on forums and other message boards.

Some can't even monetize their domains to get the renewal fees for the upcoming period.

If you have 4 or 5 domains then you can surely shed the amount from your own pocket. But when the figure goes around 100's and 1000's it is very hard to renew the domains for the future.

My advice to newbies would be to stick at 25 to 50 domains. They can earn for 10 or 20 renewals per year if your names are below average. Some domain might get you more revenue and it can fill the gap for you. Ultimately the main thing is to not lose a domain for nothing. You should at least get its registration fees from it. This will not start downfall of your domain empire which you want to build. 1 dollar loss is also a big loss if you have more then 100 or 500 domains in your domain portfolio.

So what kind of domains you should buy?

Choose wisely on which name you are putting your money. Three characters .com's are creating a lot of chaos right now in the market. Their prices goes sky high in domain name aftermarkets. Generic dictionary words are also long gone. New TLD's are not so stable right now, dot-com still rules the internet. You might get lucky in some other TLD's but I wouldn't advice you if you are new in the game.

4 letters have 456976 combinations from AAAA to ZZZZ. Of them only around 5000 are left. Which is of course the garbage.

What do we do now if we still want to get out feets wet in this?

Look for some guy who is willing to sell his domain for less. There are plenty of places to find this kind of domains available for sale at lower prices. You can go to forums specially created for this kind of discussions. If you don't know any then here is the one Nameslot.com Go there look for some domains which might fall under our category and then approach the seller. Here also lookout for trademark issues and blacklisting for that particular domain. You can generally get this info from doing a whois search for that domain here Whois.sc

Keep your eyes and ears open for latest news. It might shed some light and you might be the lucky one who grabs that name for just registration fees and sell it for 1000's. Work on them and get every cent out of them. This will keep you in the game. The main thing over here is not to win the game but to be in it and be till the last.
